Omu rice
Ingredients:
450 g rice, rinsed
600 ml water
1 onion, diced
2 Vienna sausages, sliced
2 tablespoons olive oil
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
1 tablespoon butter
3 tablespoons tomato sauce (plus extra for serving, optional)
1 tablespoon oyster sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce
9 eggs
3 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise
3 tablespoons milk
3 teaspoons olive oil
Steps:
Cook rice with 600 ml water.
Sauté onion and sausages in olive oil. Add rice, butter, salt, and pepper, and stir well.
Add tomato sauce, oyster sauce, and soy sauce. Mix and set aside.
Beat 3 eggs with 1 tablespoon each of Kewpie mayonnaise and milk, plus salt and pepper.
Heat 1 teaspoon olive oil in a pan, cook eggs into a soft omelet, place 1/3 of the rice mixture inside, fold, and plate. Repeat for the remaining portions.
Serve with extra tomato sauce on top, if desired.
Tuna salad
Ingredients:
1 cucumber, sliced
1/4 cabbage, thinly sliced
1 can tuna, drained
3 tablespoons Kewpie mayonnaise
Pepper (to taste)
Salt (to taste)
Steps:
Combine cucumber, cabbage, and tuna in a bowl.
Add Kewpie mayonnaise, pepper, and salt. Mix thoroughly.
Serve fresh and enjoy!
